The Xylophonus Rex

This instrument is a two-octave pentatonic xylophone. Deeply resonated bars which produce a warm soft tone are made of beautiful, as well as durable, purple heart wood. The bars are set on an indestructible redwood and steel frame. The steel housing on the sides protect the painted resonators suspended beneath each bar. Seven feet long and weighing 400 pounds, this instrument spans a small watercourse.
