A traditional pentatonic xylophone originating in Uganda. The bars of this instrument are made form an extremely durable tropical wood known as ipe (ee-pay) that performs well in an outdoor setting and stands up to hard use. The wood is highly weather resistant and sealed with Penofin and paraffin to increase its longevity outdoors. Overall length is five feet. Scale is C major. |
