Installation Instructions for Sunset on the Yantzee

Table of instrument dimensions

The Sunset on the Yantzee is shipped assembled. The only additional assembly needed is to attach the support posts to the instrument frame. There are two six foot long support posts and the placement of these posts into the instrument frame is indicated by the receptacles, which are on the underside of the instrument frame.  Simply lay the instrument on a padded surface, bars downward, and fit the angled ends of the posts into the receptacles and screw the posts on.  Screws are supplied with the instrument.

The posts are sized so that they can be set 36 inches into the ground in ten inch diameter holes.  If a smaller depth is desired, the posts can be cut prior to installing them into the instrument frame.  The spacing for the holes for the support posts can be made by measuring the distance between the post receptacles on the instrument frame.  It is a good idea to auger the holes for the posts before attaching the posts to the instrument frame.  After the posts are attached it is only necessary to put the posts in the holes, brace the instrument upright and pour the concrete.

Support posts for this instrument are spaced 31 inches on center.

Overall width of the instrument is 38 inches.
