2) Place front and back tubes as shown in photo #1. Note that the tube with the center tee connector is toward the back.

3) Place the ends of the bent tubes into the ground tube elbow joints marked 1,2,3,4.  Screws will need to be extracted from the elbow joints first to allow the ends of the bent tubes to be inserted. The ends of the bent tubes are also marked 1,2,3,4.  (See photo #2) Visually align the  holes in tubes and joints. Insert screws and tighten. (photo #3)

4) Place wooden spreader bar. Connects bent tubes between cable entry at apex of each bent tube. (photo #4)

5) Place center rod in tee connector. (Photos #5 and #6)

6) Instrument is ready to install in the ground. Center support rod must be stabilized at a 90-degree angle until cement cures. Photo #7 The bent tubes will not be at exact 90 degree angles when the center rod is at 90 degrees.

7) Install to desired depth in ground.  Parts of the trench may need to be drilled to a depth of three feet for freeze stabilization. Leave spreader bar in place until the concrete is fully cured.

8) Untape mallets and remove spreader bar and you are ready to play.
